The Significance of Her Name

We decided to use family names when we chose Madeline's names. Glenn's paternal grandmother was Madoline, but we changed the "o" to "e" so that she has the common spelling and won't have to correct people as often (we hope). My mom's name is Beatrix, but we took off the "Trix" and kept the "Bea." She will be Maddi for short and since I'm Carli with an "i" she will be Maddi with an "i."
